Twitter is a free social networking tool that allows users to share updates called tweets. WordPress supports embedding of tweets on blog posts and pages. In this article, we will explain how to embed a tweet in WordPress blog post.
Embed A Tweet
First, click on the timestamp of the tweet you want to embed in your blog post.
Next, you will see the URL of the single tweet then simply copy the complete URL address.
Then, paste the complete URL into your blog post and you don’t need to do anything else, as WordPress supports embed of tweets it will automatically convert the URL into a tweet as displayed on Twitter.

Some of You might think, why not simply share the screenshot of the Tweet?
Because, by embedding a Tweet into WordPress, the Tweet is displayed as it would have displayed on your Twitter timeline, which means in the above-displayed Tweet You can like, reply, retweet etc. from here itself as you can do it on Twitter.
Embed A Tweet in Dark Theme
There are lots of customizations that can be done with the embedding of tweets in WordPress. Some of you might love using the dark theme in the Twitter, so you can also embed tweets with the dark theme.
Instead of clicking on the date or timestamp, expand the drop-down near date and click on embed tweet.
Then copy the code which is shown on the next screen.
Paste this code in the Text section of the WordPress Post Editor instead of Visual Section.
And simply add the following code to the code copied from Twitter removing quotes.
The embed tweet would be displayed in dark theme.
